Coming Soon (End of 2025) Dark Rangers Remote Observatory!
Featuring Bortle 1 Skies at 8000' of elevation with 8 total acres. We're excited to announce construction of the newest Remote Observatory and one of the only one's available in Arizona! Building 1 construction is under way, we're looking to provide some of the best skies in the country and a premium experience for a non-premium price.
Looking to begin installing scopes October of 2025. We've had a lot of initial interest and piers will fill up fast. Email: Ryan@DarkRangersinc.com to reserve your pier, or ask any additional questions.
Each scope will have it's own permanent pier, and we're looking to keep the scope count lower than some higher volume observatories in order to provide excellent customer service and maintain a 1 on 1 feel when needed. While also creating a community for folks to combine their data and share their work.
Regular workshop video calls on processing and equipment tips will come with the membership. As will exclusive discounts from channel partners. Once we're up and running we want to have equipment on hand as well to limit downtimes.
We will be hosting star parties as well, allowing folks to come out and visit the observatory and enjoy the skies with us!

***Update 8/15/25
After receiving several requests from folks who because of location or not having their rig finished to send out a scope we are looking into a membership where folks can get access to data from one of my 2 personal rigs. Essentially everyone can vote on a cool target (potentially 2 if we get enough people) each month, have access to the full quality data to stack. Then we will do a Teams call as a group and process it together! That way everyone can get a lot better at their image processing and have access to awesome data. You will be able to print, post, or whatever you choose with your processed image as it will be unique to you. It'll be a great way to enjoy the project for those who cannot send a scope personally. Every month you'll get amazing data, and a 2 hour processing session with me to ask questions and gain the skills you need to get the most out of your own data!
